Meet Rachael and Lisa!
Lisa Heider Eifel and Rachel Rosendaul own Kentucky Tack Exchange. They both have a love for all things equine and enjoy helping the community by reselling high end tack and clothes for reasonable prices. Their philosophy has been that this sport is expensive enough without having to pay retail!
Lisa grew up in Virginia fox hunting, showing hunters, driving draft horses and mules on the family farm. Having that background launched her into working for equine publications and moving to Kentucky to become Advertising manager at the Blood-Horse Publications. Now she has 3 kids, 11 year old Lydia competes and fox hunters with her mom in the Kentucky area.
Rachael on the other hand, did not originally come from a horse background but landed in Kentucky via Dearborn Michigan. She has quickly made up for lost time when her 11 year old daughter, Ruth, declared her love for horses 5 years ago. They just purchased their first horse this past Christmas and look forward to many years of showing and eventing “Kaloosh”. Rachael has begun riding and is determined to enter her first show this season.
So both Lisa and Rachael decided that with their crazy lives and 3 kids each, they didn’t have enough to do and bought a tack store!
